The First Private Dinner at Harry Potter Studios
June 2012
CSA organised the first private dinner ever to be held at Harry Potter Studios. The Founders Forum guests had drinks at No 10 Downing Street, and were then chauffeured in a fleet of 48 Range Rovers and Jaguars (thanks to generous Founders Forum sponsor Jaguar Land Rover). They were treated to dinner in the famous “Great Hall”, before touring the studios, tasting Butterbeer and trying out the brooms for a game of Quidditch.

After-Dinner Bar

We turned the loggia into an after-dinner bar, adding hanging tea lights above and uplighters to pick up the contours of the vaulted ceiling.

Irish Wedding Cake

Check out this impressive 7 double-layered wedding cake that was made by an award-winning wedding cake supplier in Dublin. The layers were alternately fruit cake or marbled sponge cake (the colours of this layer exactly matching the bridesmaids’ dresses).

Flying to Florence tomorrow for another wedding in the CSA calendar, this time at Villa San Michele.

We’re excited to be heading out to Florence for another wedding that CSA are organising, this time in Florence. The weather looks unsettled, but we have a Plan B for rain which hopefully won’t have to come into play. We’ll post photos of the wedding on the site next week.

Ice Cream, Berries & Hot Salted Caramel Sauce
One of the best parts of our job? Undoubtedly the tastings! And this time of year is busy as clients are finalising their menus for their summer parties and weddings.
We loved this Ice Cream, Berries & Hot Salted Caramel Sauce pudding made by the Yorkshire Party Company. The bride was delighted by it, however she chose a different pudding that had an even bigger ‘wow factor’. Watch this space for June!

Beggin’ the Jersey Boys
We had to pull some strings to get the Jersey Boys to sing at this party. Directly after their West End performance, they whizzed across London and came straight on stage at the party, with not a gelled hair out of place.

A fun wedding at One Marylebone

A great friend of ours was married at One Marylebone last weekend. We were delighted to organise the wedding for her and her husband. As she is a Garden Designer, the flower arrangements were particularly important to her. She was a beautiful bride, and it was a pleasure working with her to make her wedding stress-free and great fun.
