Our story began in 2010, when lifelong family friends Katie Crichton-Stuart and Charlotte Aitken combined their expertise and flair for the extraordinary, and redefined what it means to celebrate in style. As childhood friends, they grew up watching their glamorous parents throw enviable parties for film stars and royalty, with memories that have inspired their work to this day.
Katie’s background in television production and luxury catering, combined with Charlotte’s meticulous budgeting and logistics expertise from Goldman Sachs, form the perfect blend of creative vision and practical execution.

Katie has been in the industry for 18 years, working for top London caterers and party planners before setting up Albion Parties with Charlotte. Happiest when her Dachshund, Blondie, is running around the office, she specialises in high profile large-scale weddings. During COVID-19, she has taken the opportunity to study on an Interior Design course, bringing an added stylistic element to the parties and weddings she produces.
Charlotte worked at Goldman Sachs, running over 90 events a year across Europe, including the World Economic Forum in Davos, Hedge Fund events, and the Global Partner programme. Married to an Italian who comes from Lake Como, she is our resident Italy specialist.
During the pandemic, she became a key member of the UK Weddings Taskforce, liaising with the Government on behalf of the Wedding industry. In addition, Charlotte is a lecturer at the Event Academy. She has also worked closely with Siobhan Baillie MP to set up the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Weddings.
Emma Nelson is a lover of logistics; she is not a person to let a detail be overlooked. Starting out at Quintessentially, Emma produced events for a number of world-renowned corporate clients including Facebook, Omega, IHG, BGC and Diacore, as well as high-profile individuals. She has a broad spectrum of expertise, ranging from a marathon in Botswana, to Bar Mitzvahs in London, and successfully producing destination weddings in Vienna and Athens. She runs weddings and parties seamlessly, injecting creativity into the details, and keeping both her clients and suppliers upbeat with her good humour.
Charlie Lechmere embarked on her venture into the world of events through London’s top catering companies, following her BA degree in International Hospitality & Tourism Management. With a deep passion for all things food and beverages, this was the ideal introduction to the dynamic domain of luxury events. Amid the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Charlie temporarily shifted her focus from event work to spending a year with a tech startup. This experience enriched her expertise in management and operations. Nonetheless, her love for creativity, design, organisation and logistics naturally guided Charlie to Albion Parties and back to the diverse reality of events and party planning as soon as the pandemic eased.
